I inherited a 2006 Coachman Spirit of America pull behind camper. I do not know where directions are.?

June 8, 2010 Camping Heater

How do I get ready to use it? Do you only light pilot light when you get to campsite? I see elect & water hookups—what about the sewer drain?
Where is hot water heater? Does water fill some tank inside and do I empty it before I drive home?
I need to know alot, but I am interested in trying to go camping…..always used hotels or condos.

Go to a local camping dealer and ask your questions. I am sure they will help you. Almost all campers are alike except for where the items are located. A water heater is a water heater. Once you find out what does what you should be fine.

Try all this out at home before going out on the road and having problems.

Lotta info requested, try asking around in the GROUPS section under RV trailers they have a lot of the info you will need and links to acquire owners manuals and such other things. you may even find another coachman owner who will hook you up with all kinds of info.

I am a Dolphin owner and it is quite easy to get ready to go just pack like you would for any hotel stay and think Lite weight for every thing ie paper plates instead of stoneware.

Get a woodalls campground Directory to find rv sites with full hook ups for water sewer and electric. don’t worry about filling up your fresh water tanks before you get to your campsite as most destinations have water. Empty everything at the rv site so you don’t have to tow all that extra weight.

Again consult the Groups section it has been very helpful to me.
